Training and Capability

This page is where you will find information about learning and capability development at Fire and Emergency New Zealand, until 1 July 2017 when the new intranet - the Portal - will be available.

Learning opportunities include some targeted face-to-face training, but are mostly online self-paced learning, or demonstrations, lunchbox presentations, and telephone and video conferences. This format is to help ensure we minimise disruption to normal business as much as possible. 

Since many of the educational materials around the policy and process or system changes are based on eLearning modules, we will send you notifications when they are being rolled out through the Learning Station. If you are required to attend any workshop or face-to-face training, you will be contacted directly or through your manager.
